We were honored to be asked to work with Michael Will Photography and his team of talented vendors for a wedding styled shoot this spring.  Michael’s vision was artistic, earthy, and industrial given the edgy setting of Pittsburgh’s Carrie Furnaces.

We were challenged to step outside our comfort zone to help design this shoot. With the help of all the bright colors provided by Mt. Lebanon Floral, in addition to the onsite graffitti, we were inspired to design something raw and vulnerable for the space. As a result, the tablescape became a vision of jewel tones combined with rich gold, exposed wood, classic candlelight, a modern twist on chairs, all wrapped up in the industrial world of the Carrie Furnace.  Our goal was to provide texture throughout the table, which we were happy to accomplish with the exquisite gold linen print, wood grain table, artistically lined charger plates and jaw dropping, deep watercolor stationary. Mt. Lebanon Floral certainly showed up to the party with their addition of bold colors, adding depth to our texture.  Madison Ave Cakes put the icing on the cake with their gold brushed wedding cake. We had no problems dressing that up with fun foliage.

Special thanks to Vintage Alley Rentals for provided some of the vintage pieces, including those amazing upholstered chairs! All Occasions was also crucial in their addition of tableware and acrylic chairs. Details provided by Mosaic Linens,  Madison Ave Cakes and Blush Paper Co. All, topped off with the amazing styling of Christina Imberlina and beauty pro Hannah Conard. Love to all! This was so much fun and we can’t wait to do it again! Enjoy!
